Read this before you read the numbers. The readiness index is built from
practice inside this hub. It is not a CXC prediction and not a grade. Practice
accuracy flatters — multiple choice, no time pressure, an explanation after every
question — so retention and timed tests are weighted, and coverage caps the score,
because nobody is ready for a paper they have seen a third of. Treat a band as a
direction of travel, and treat school reports and real past papers as the truth.
